Open mathbou opened this issue 3 years ago • 3 comments

Describe the bug On large resolution (>2.5k), Taiga UI is quite big but the browser zoom works well except for the Kanban that does not resize at all.

To Reproduce On the Kanban page, zoom in or out with the browser zoom.

Expected behavior A Kanban that resizes itself depending on the browser zoom level.

Taiga environment Self-hosted Taiga v6.0.7 (official Docker images)

Screenshots At 100% zoom taiga100

At 70% zoom taiga70

Hi! We do not understand the problem quite well. If you use the browser zoom, the kanban will zoom in and out as expected. Can I assume you want the kanban always to fit the width of the window? Can you give us more info? We want to understand it well. Thanks!

Sorry, yes, 'fit' is way more appropriate, but it's not only for the width. When swimlanes are created, the Kanban also stops fitting the height of the browser (cf. my 70% screenshot).

Okay, I got it. :)

In terms of height, we can improve this. The idea is that you can always see the beginning of the next lane (unfolded), but the reserved space can be too much.

As for the width, it is not designed to fit the width of the window. In your first capture, what we see is a happy coincidence. As you surely know, the number of columns is configurable by the user. The cards' width is designed so that users can see an adequate number of columns, in the most common screen resolutions (as yours), and scroll horizontally for the rest.

We'll check the height issue. You can track the progress in this issue. If you have a taiga account you can follow it here: https://tree.taiga.io/project/taiga/issue/4425

Thanks for the feedback!
