What's the status?

This is just a question: What's the status of the project?

We started to use Taiga in the beginning of 2017 on a self-hosted instance and loved it. It had and still has some minor bugs, yes, but it's beautiful and mostly a charm to use.

I did a complete upgrade of Taiga from 3.0.0. to 4.0.2 last week. And there were issues that I mostly could but some as well that I could not resolve. I have to say, it was quite a hassle as both install or update documentation is somewhat incomplete and outdated, especially when you're trying to get taiga-events and taiga-celery to work. From this process I came to the impression, that Taiga is if not everywhere (there are regular releases until today) in some places abandoned. Major contributors seem to have stopped working on the project. Documentation misses current specifications. Templates are outdated. This only what I saw.

Plus I know that the Taiga frontend is based AngularJS which is deprecated and I know from my own experience that migration to descend Angular is ... well you know.

So all I want here, I realize, is thank you guys for Taiga and please keep up the work! There is apart from some overkill solutions I know no real alternative for it. But one thing I can tell is that especially while looking at the docu, if you try to use software that is a hassle to install or upgrade, you won't stay with it.

I came to the same conclusions, and the lack of docker support is driving me crazy... the setup is very difficult and so easy to break.

Are you still using it? Any alternative recommendations?
