Icon on macOS menu bar is too large

As you can see in the picture, the icon on the menu bar is a bit too large. Is it possible to reduce the size a little so it matches the "default" size? Not a big issue, just a small UI enhancement :)

EDIT Current OS Version: macOS Sierra 10.12.6
