Csharp extension not working

Is anyone else facing this issue on FreeBSD? On a fresh install, it is impossible to get the csharp extension working. No error is displayed during the installation process of the extension but nothing actually is installed. Csharp is the main language of the .net ecosystem so this is quite problematic.
