Downloaded vscode-1.46.1.tar.gz. Got the following message when trying to install (sudo pkg install vscode-1.46.1.tar.gz)

pkg: No packages available to install matching 'vscode-1.46.1.tar.gz' have been found in the repositories

Is ports the only other way to install? Some of its dependencies are newer than those in pkg and forces one to reinstall complex apps (Node, Perl) via ports.
