Hinge Gan loss

Hi , taesung You used Hinge Gan loss in your previous paper(SPADE), could you please give me some hints why not using Hinge Gan loss in CUT? I assume Hinge Gan loss could improve the performance, but you intentionally match everything same as CycleGAN?

OK, let me end this question. Hinge loss works unwell in some tasks like summer2winter, photo to VanGogh/Monet painting. Those tasks usually do not have a clear distinction between background and foreground.
