Why Google search?

Hi Alvaro,

Great plugin, awesome work! This plugin is marvelous and has helped me a lot in finding my notes. Obsidian should consider implementing it as the default.

I have a question: What is the workflow or ideal use case for having the button to search on Google? I assume it's for when you're looking for a concept in your vault and can't find it, but I might be wrong. However, it adds friction to creating a new note. My usual workflow for creating a note was Command + O, typing the name, and hitting Enter. With this quick switcher, I have to move the mouse and click the button, which is less efficient. Perhaps adding the Google search option as an extra feature while keeping the create note as the default would provide a more efficient flow?

Hi, @AMGMNPLK :)

I assume it's for when you're looking for a concept in your vault and can't find it,

Yes, you are correct.

I have to move the mouse and click the button

In my case, I often encounter issues with the default Quick Switcher behavior where I accidentally create notes and then have to delete them. This happens because I hit Enter, believing that the searched note should exist, but due to typos or misunderstandings, a new note gets unintentionally created instead.

Would it be problematic to assign a specific shortcut key intentionally for creating new notes?

I intend to drop the Google search function while implementing https://github.com/tadashi-aikawa/obsidian-another-quick-switcher/issues/213.
