DO NOT MERGE! This branch is based on PR #111 and aimed at issue #114 . Since this PR is not yet merged, I've selected DEVELOPMENT as comparison, resulting in a large number of changes being displayed below.

This branch is not intended to be accepted, but to serve as a platform for discussion.

This branch displays a first (very primitive) way of creating a element from scratch. There are a still some open questions in this area such as:

• How should a metadata-record be represented in the API? Should a special object wrapper be created, or can this somehow be included into a normal "field"-object?
• What is the relationship between attributes such as local-type and remote-type? I've tried to collect some information in metadata_structure.py, but I can only verify that this is working for PostgreSQL. How does Tableau itself create those attributes from a database connection?
