Support numbered registers(`0-9`), Expression Register(`=`) and other register?

Is this any plan to implement numbered registers? In Vim, numbered registers remember the previous yanks. So "0p pastes the second most recent yank, "1p the third most recent yank, etc. (""p is the most recent yank.)

I know this feature as long as lots of register feature which is not currently implemented in vmp. For the numbered register, I rarely use this since for me it's very complex not intuitive. Did you tried, vim-mode-clipboard-plus? I like this approach than numbered register. Or my clip-history, its intended to use in insert-mode only though.

Those packages are both very useful and mostly solve my problem, except it doesn't seem they can be used without the system clipboard. I really appreciate the help - thanks! I'll leave it up to you whether to leave the issue open.

+1 this would be really great. Even if it were just 0 for the second most recent yank.

Since lots of request coming for not yet supported register. I use this oldest issue as consolidated issue for any registers currently not supported.
