Searching starts visual mode

Hello.

I have zero idea how to do the debug copy/paste thing, I search Google, the keymap file, and the documentation without finding an idea how to do it. A link in the sentence asking to do that would be neat, it's just a few characters ...

About my issue: If I do a search ( /mytext Enter ), then do N to search the next result, for some reason it goes into Visual mode and selects between the first match and the current one. How do I make it not do that?
