Command to 'stage' the currently selected/nearest diff.

I would love to be able to pop open inline diff and go through and stage them in order to review changes before committing.

Maybe also a feature to visually differentiate staged vs unstaged or even better an option to only show unstaged diffs inline and ignore staged ones.

I might have an attempt at this if you don't like the idea or get around to it.

Ya, I have this idea before you open this issue and actually worked a bit for that feature. But stopped when I fail to build apply-able patch from diff info. I haven't investigated it deeper. Might retry when I have in mood next time.l
