Tab Lengh of inline deleted text is not honored

I've changed my Editor setting for Tab Length to 8 to match my other tools. Unfortunately, when I toggle on inline deleted text I see them displayed with the original Tab Length of 2. The miss-aligns the old and new text which makes the code harder to compare.
