Without logs there's not anything to investigate here

You can also download logs or inspect the console via Ctrl+Shift+I to see the error for yourself if it recurs

@rgpublic Guests are a special type of matrix account with a numeric username and no password, they are very temporal and do not get access to things like VoIP.

Yes it is intentionally not used on macOS in favour of the Dock, as that supports the notification badge etc, unlike tray on macOS.
