The columns ordering change between train and predict

It seems to me that the train method and the predict method expects the train and test sets to have the same ordering of the columns, am I correct? If I am correct, I was wondering if this is considered an issue and there are plans to implement methods that utilize the names of the columns instead of the order. Maybe this could be added as a warning in the documentations.
