  1. No fan noise.
  2. No electrical whine.
  3. No lights when not in use.

I live in an apartment, so I don't want my computer making noises and light when I'm not using it. My current desktop is great, but I would consider upgrading to one that I could leave turned on while going to sleep or watching a movie.
