So https://github.com/system76/ec/issues/2 is happening again? Have we confirmed that the screw nearest the power button on the bottom of the system is screwed in sufficiently?

This is physical, not firmware. My galp3 had a very similar problem — any pressure anywhere on the left side of the machine could potentially register a power button press. It makes sense that pulling out a USB plug would do it, they grip pretty tight, so it takes a fair amount of pressure on the case.
