Plugable UD-CA1A - Not detected after reboot

(Using darp7):

The Plugable UD-CA1A on https://support.system76.com/articles/docking-station has been labled as "All features work".

It has for me, until I power off the laptop and turn it back on a while later. The side of the dock which has the HDMI port will not work, at all. The other side, however, seems to continue working.

I believe system76 employees use this dock; if so, are any of you able to recreate this issue with the darp7? I'm having a hard time finding a compatible dock that will work properly.
