creating Alias, 'waiting to connect to peers' runs continuously

Hi, I am running the Blockmarket desktop on Win10 and my Alias has been in process for a few hours, constantly showing 'trying to connect to peers' I did initially try twice and this then shows up twice in transactions with the same Alias name, hopefully this is not causing an issue. I synced the blockchain this morning and it shows up my wallet amount no problem, it's just the Alias set up issue. Any ideas please?
