5gen clickwheel

Hi! thanks for this repo. As far as I understand, this works with a 4gen ipod clickwheel. Any idea on how to extend this for 5gen where the clickwheel has been revamped (physical buttons are now on the logic board itself). It seems pretty difficult to find parts for 4gen while for 5gen they are widely available.

i would opt for buying a cheap 30$ 4th gen ipod from ebay. its cheap, chinese ones are refurbished and might take a while to ship in, but should look brand new. you'll be gutting it for the project anyway.

the reason i say this is because if you look at the 4th versus 5th gen ipods, the 5th gen cases are a lot smaller and probably wont fit all this inside. 4th gen ones are nice and roomy. for any tech shoved inside.
