Server commands not working?

Are server commands in the form rss.add <feed> already phased out? My locally hosted instance doesn't read any commands - no response in the logs.

I think I've added everything about this bot correctly to my locally hosted instance. I was even able to add a feed using a locally hosted web interface. I have enableCommands: true and prefix: "rss", so I know that's not the issue. Would appreciate any help!
