'Auto' State and Inputs

We have many components that maintain some sort of 'automatic' state where the component decides a set of parameters for itself, and then adds the option of manual override from the user. An example is the Axis bounds on the line plot. By default, the bounds are automatically determined by the data, but the user has the option to manually set the bounds.

Our inputs don't do a good job of showing when the controlled parameter is in 'auto' mode. They also don't let the user revert to auto-mode when desires. We should add those features to all Input elements.
