Share as text for offline use and/or expose functionality as TTS engine

Use case: I'm using Pocket in offline mode. Using the share function from the article requires Internet connection and it's not an option. Currently, the process is tap-hold on the article text to select some, tap arrow to show all options, tap 'Select all text', tap 'Copy', switch to program and use read from clipboard function. It is cumbersome to use and it discourages its use for short articles (a big percentage).

Problem and proposed solution: I imagine that the sharing acion only sends the article URL (or perhaps I'm assuming wrong and there is a 'share as text' action possible), so there is nothing on the RSVP app which can be done. However, the 'Listen (TTS)' article action from Pocket works offline and it's only 2 taps away from the article view. I suppose that it works by sending the raw text to the TTS engine, so no Internet connection is required to invoke a TTS engine. If the RSVP app could be exposed as a TTS engine, it would add another convenient method to send texts to be RSVP'ed from a lot of apps, but in raw text format, which adds flexibility. Since TTS engines are usable system-wide, lots of apps could benefit from it, not just Pocket. Sure, you would need to make the app the default TTS engine if the sender app does not prompt for an engine before sending (the case for Pocket) but that would be a minimal annoyance, outweighed by the improvement in usage, IMO. In my case I don't use TTS at all, so I would do it happily, but others might use it anyway with a TTS engine quick-switch app, for example.
