[Bug] Playback takes longer than expected to start after an error

When you try playing a video after giving it something invalid, it takes significantly longer to attempt the next input.

Steps to reproduce: Provide player with an invalid URL. Then, after it tries everything and fails, provide it with a valid URL.

Ideally this long pause after an error wouldn't be present, and it would just behave normally after an error.
