Not detecting network connection when under a VPN

When configuring syncthing on GrapheneOS and the system option VPN>Block connections without VPN is enabled, syncthing won't detect any network, either the Wi-Fi or mobile network.

The application should, at the very least, be able to detect it is connected to the network or, as a workaround, could run without any kind of AP detection.
