We unfortunately can't remove these with the way we currently modify the taskbar

You can use rules to do this, but you'll have to create them yourself in a per app manner

Add "language": "en-US" to the config file if Windows' language selection algorithm doesn't use the right language for you.
This is a bug in the OS implementation of the acrylic effect:  TranslucentTB just passes the specified color unmodified to the system.
