Feature request: Syncronisch is been triggered by a file change

Open dannyrichardson opened this issue 11 years ago • 2 comments

It should be nice when a file is changed, it automatically synchronizes with the given target(s) . So also implicit changes should be triggered. When a java or groovy or other source file is changed it is reflected to one or mote class files. This class files should be automatically be synchronized.

I think what @dannyrichardson is asking is the same thing I was coming to ask;

Synchronize only the changed file on save.

Right now this plugin is useless to me as I don't want it synchronizing my entire project just to save 1 file.

I suspect the "Synchronize on save" option (see #8) solves one of the requested needs.

The support for Groovy synchronization is something specific that could be added, but I won't implement that since I barely use Groovy. See also #15.

About the second comment ("I don't want it synchronizing my entire project just to save 1 file"), why don't you use the "Synchronize this" action instead of "Synchronize all"? When I was using this plugin, this was my main usage.
