[BUG] skipping images

sometimes when browsing images with arrow buttons it lagging and skipped one image in between and then I have to push the arrow back to previous image. Pls fix!

what is the context of this behavior?

What type of images are you viewing... how big are the images? What is your system hardware? Attach your settings file as well

its just like lagging when i press arrow button then skipped to the next picture while i havent see the current one. Its tipically png and jpeg. File size approx ~10 Mb. I dont know how to attach setting , sory.

  1. What is the system you're running on, hardware and OS details
  2. JPEGView.ini , send that
  3. Where are you running JPEGView from?
  4. What resolution of pictures are you skipping between
  5. Where are the images located? Are they on a Flash drive? on a hard disk? internal? external? on a network share? NAS?
  6. is it reproducible... can you consistently reproduce the skipping with a certain type of image?

I had a similar problem, the software when used for reading would jump from page 01 to 19, etc. I couldn't figure it out but it turns out it is not a bug. The solution for that is to change the display order. In my version, the default is to sort files by their modification date, changing that to file names instead fixes the issue. It is not the same problem but I thought it might be a good idea to point it out somewhere.
