Flushing the hypothesis after matching

Hi there, I am currently working on a demo based on the keyword search demo which, when receiving a positive match on a keyword, plays an audio sample. However, pocketsphinx keeps returning a positive after the first match so the audio keeps repeating. Is there a way to flush the hypothesis to prevent this from happening?

I have stopped and started the recorder after a correct hit but no luck.
