Make 'Doing it Right' Bar Consistent with Meta Validations
As you can see in the picture the meta fields' validations update in real time but the corresponding field in the doing it right bar is not updated to reflect that until AFTER you publish, which looks like the right.
I always had this in mind, but never got on with it. Thanks for opening this issue 😃
We should use WordPress' heartbeat API; hooking into autosave calls. This would be the best thing.
Sidenote: We'd also like to asynchronously update the description examples, too. This is now possible with the new high-performance description generation.
Oh I am sorry, I didn't know, just noticed it and thought I ask. Glad you are on it and thank you for considering it.
That sounds like the most efficient approach, won't require too much overhead to code or run as it is happening already by the platform.
Yeah that would be excellent, you would cover all the bases and as you said, you are already built for it.
