Limited Sitemap functionality

Open fuelist opened this issue 3 years ago • 1 comments

We have need to create a sitemap index and include more than a couple thousand links in the various indexes. Our tests and data are showing that when we disable SEOFrameworks sitemap functions and use a third party sitemap we are able to create search gains. However, we then run into other conflicts and issues which make site management a nightmare. Please enable sitemap indexing and allow unlimited pages in a sitemap index. I am happy to lend my team for development support.

Thank you.

Hello,

When you disable TSF's "Optimized Sitemap" and use WordPress 5.5 or later, you should have a sitemap index with various sitemaps from WordPress natively when visiting the sitemaps endpoint.

TSF tweaks that sitemap to mitigate the most common issues. If you are still finding issues, please share the specifics. Thanks!
