Crash if audio device disconnected
Swift currently throws an error and crashes if the audio device in use is disconnected. When this is done inadvertently, this becomes a nuisance.
This occurs when a specific audio device is chosen, I have not tested if default is selected. My suggestion would be to revert current to default audio device if the specific audio device is disconnected.
Which operating system?
Which operating system?
Sorry about that. This is on Windows 10. I doubt it would be related to the sim version, however it is P3Dv4. This is what happens in more detail: After disconnect, a Windows error message pops up (one that allows you to just click ok). I will test later and write exactly what it says. When going back to the Swift application, the Swift application is throwing the same error through its GUI, however when clicking on anything, it freezes up and CTD.
With any crashes, especially ones related to audio, the first thing to do is to look in the bin\audio subfolder of the swift installation folder, and delete the two wasapi files if they are there, leaving only the two windows files.
The wasapi files are buggy and not needed. They will not be included in future versions of swift.
