Prevent README.md from Showing After Installing

Hey, I have this plugin included in a .devcontainer setup. I would like to prevent the README.md from showing up every single time. There are a handful of plugins that do this and it is not very useful to the user to have to close it each time. Is there a setting that controls this or is there a way of blocking it?

If not, can you please consider adding a setting that would allow us to block it from opening?
