Steam context menus spontaneously creating many non-responsive windows in sway

After several hours of inactivity, there appear to be many unresponsive windows being generated by steam. This has not happened in my previous install with gnome, But I do not know for sure if the bug is in sway itself or steam?

Please fill out the following:

• Sway Version: sway version 1.9

• Debug Log: I don't know exactly how to make it happen quickly enough to get a usefull log, it happens after several hours of inactivity.

• Configuration File: It happened with the default config. The only change I have made is switching the default term to "wezterm", but it happened before I did that as well.

• Description: After several hours of not using my computer I returned to see a ton of windows open from steam with seemingly all of the context menus from steam and a separate window with the store page. They don't respond to the sway close shortcut and I need to kill steam from a terminal.

This sounds like an upstream Steam issue.
