Border between title bars has double thickness

When you have multiple tabs, the title bar borders look like this:

| A     || B     |
|-------||-------|

That is, because each title bar has a border of width x around it, the border between two title bars will have width 2 * x, even though the top and bottom borders have width x. This looks ugly.

Would a patch be welcome to make the border between any two title bars have x width?

i3 behaves in the same way, it draws a double border between title bars.
