Hi

This is not an issue, just to appreciate the effort and to say this is exactly how tags should behave. I have no idea why Laravel is not adopting this already. I hope they will change the implementation soon.

☝🏻 Just going to go ahead and give you a 👍🏻 on this one - Their tags implementation never made sense and if I'm honest I held off on the 9->10 migration because of their "tag deprecation" notice. Digging, I found your comment (and this repo) and... well...

I hate that I spent a half month trying (and failing) to do what you've done. Set up a sponsorship.
