Inserting anything after using "clear editor" restores the Petstore

I ran into this unexpected behavior when after clearing the editor, to start working on my API, the Petstore code is restored whenever I try to insert something (Doesn't seem to matter what). The changes I enter (for example, if I want to add info) modify the API, but as an update, the rest of the API still shows.

This happened with the master branch and also with 4.9.1. Restarting the browser doesn't fix the issue.

This problem happens in Edge, Chrome and Firefox on Windows 10.
