Issue with -x option on windows platform

I have a simple file that is a listing of files in directories, and execute the following sift command:

sift -e " S" files.txt

And it executes as expected, but if I want it to parse the file for files that do not have this characteristic:

sift -x " S" files.txt

I get the following output:

Those are protected system directories which cannot be accessed without changing ACLs etc.
