[Crash] logging into a server that doesn't have Charm installed (paper / velocity)

I run a velocity proxy with paper servers and one modded fabric server. Charm works fine when installed on Fabric server and I log directly into it, but if I go to the lobby (which is a paper server in the velocity proxy), it crashes with the following error on screen:

It's fine going through the proxy to the fabric server, but when going through it to a paper server, this happens. Why?

its doing it for me also when im joining a server block ids are changed and server entirely is made with unnormal blocks like barrier cobweb and piston heads
