The unicorn page is randomly shown, probably due to the markdown file length:

I'm also seeing this, but I wonder if that's because I'm also in Asia? Is anyone from North or South America or Europe also getting "This blob took too long to generate" on the README file, or a unicorn page? Or is it only people accessing GitHub from an IP in Asia that are seeing this?
Edit: To answer my own question, I switched computers to one that's on a VPN to North America and it was still seeing the "This blob took too long to generate" error. So it's not a regional issue.
And now, with the changelog file not yet having been split, I'm no longer seeing the GitHub unicorn page. So maybe the problem is temporarily solved?
Splitting the changelog into pre-1.0 and post-1.0 files, similarly to how the Svelte changelog was split into pre-5 and current, still sounds like a good plan, though.
