Noise Color Filter is sample rate-dependant.

Latch the noise oscillator in reaper bring the color all the way down change to 2x oversampling You'll hear the filter cutoff jump an octave.

oh this is harder to fix than i thought because of the way the noise correlation is set up. I'm going to knock it out of 1.2 since its been a bug since inception.

Is there even a way to fix this, apart from completely rewriting the noise osc not to use correlation (this would be use a standard biquad LPF/HPF after some generated noise)?

So I guess the question here is: do we want to keep the noise osc designed as is, or not? Either way this is a breaking change.

The 1.x solution is to scale color by sample rate in the “appropriate” way which will improve the situation

other approaches are harder
