"Weirdness" in Modulated Ranges in EGxLFO and VCAxEG
There is some inconsistencies with how the modulators are controlling the parameters on the LFOxEG and EGxVGA. Tested on the nightly build 2.1 nightly beta 801c035.
-
On the LFOxEG the ranges the mods can 'adjust' goes beyond the min/max range of the actual knobs and sliders. I can continue to move the mouse long after scale has reached maximum and continue to increase (in bits?) The slider goes to 2457 seconds (or again bits?).
-
On the EGxVCA the Decay slider is reporting in % not seconds?
-
The tooltips for the controls are inconsistent - eg the LFOxEG slider reports 3 lines - at 0 and +/-10V whereas on the EGxVCA it reports a single line. I would assume I would just half the values if I were using a +/-5V mod input.

Good catch! Consistency here would be preferable.
And yes, that's true about the modulation tooltips. They show the center value and the values you can reach by max positive/negative modulation input. That max is 10V indeed so if you send it 5V you should get halfway between the center value and the max.
These are all great. I want to make a 2.1.4 release so I'm going to make a 2.1.5 milestone for these issues.
ahh that tooltip replication is sooooo painful on the non-surge params. I want to get the other tiny fixes into 2.1.6 so I'm bouncing this out.
I got to the rest of them but this one is a real pain in the neck. I'm bouncing it out of this milestone!
