Setting padding breaks layout

See: http://jsfiddle.net/komrath/6rSCt/ — setting padding even with border-box sizing completely breaks the styling, maybe I didn't see some option for that? I would like to have padding inside elements, so I don't need to wrap them inside in any additional markup.
