Manual selection & copy skips new line

Manual selection within a snippet and copying it skips the new lines contained in that snippet and everything pastes in a single line (copy from firefox browser and paste into VS Code).

Hello @sattvikc @gitcommitshow , Hope you are doing well.

I wanted to know if the issue is still open as I wanted to contribute to the same. If yes, can you please give me some more details. The issue is clear to me, but the thing I want to know is how to proceed with the same. I mean, the issue is with copying right, how could something be possibly done to fix this (apart from changing the browser 😅).
