Volumetric flow rate excessively high

What happened?

volumetric flow view is excessively high in preview window. The print itself seems fine with no unexpected issues. This is not model specific as it occurs on all models i've tested so far.

Filament profile is set to 100mm/s max speed & 13mm3 max Volumetric speed.

Reproduce: slice any file, in Preview, switch to Volumetric Flow Rate view.
