Notion
Being unable to get support on any other route, so using this. The Notion connection doesn't work. It just adds a URL page link to supermemory, which supermemory can't then do anything with as the URLs cannot be accessed without being logged into a browser. This seems to be limited to notion pages that are notion database entries.
Supermemory cant do anything with the page URLs as you have to be signed into notion to access them via the browser. I have hundreds of untitled supermemory memories that just show a URL for a notion page, and nothing else as it cannot access the content.
I used the Notion integration built into supermemory.
hey @thelon88 , apologies for the inconvenience.
- If you have untitled supermemory memories from notion (you can disconnect the notion integration, which will remove all the documents that supermemory fetched from notion)
- I would recommend to connect it after disconnecting. cause sometimes permissions might have changed and this will make sure that supermemory has right permissions to get the info
and if supermemory have right permissions in your notion account. it will show documents like this
@thelon88 , may i know if you get a chance to look into it again?
Hello, yes I tried to disconnect and reconnect and still the same issue I am afraid.
I have checked each notion database I am trying to import and they each have the notion connection added correctly to the page to ensure conneciton on the Notion side.
It appears that supermemory is collecting the page urls for each of the database entries in a notion database to first create entries into supermemory, this seems to be your first step process for all added elements, then I noticed that with a document upload it will get processed via OCR and the content added to the already created card, then the AI finally chunks, adds memories etc.
So it seems the Notion integration is stuck at the second step the data retrieval, as in my developer view its stuck processing 150 (i assume that's the concurrent cap) of entries constantly. Suggesting problem loops due to authentication, potentially? Or I have had issues before with some json requests with Notion, as they are very particular with how they want their requests and their response json structures are pretty specific, for example on these pages supermemory is trying to pull, I have multiple multi select fields, I use unicode bullet points to replicate bullet points via API I use for uploading, and also due to the 2000 character limit per text field in Notion the database entry only has the first block of 2000 characters anything over that is held in rich text blocks on the page and is not found in the database entry for that page. - not sure if any of this helps, but can't see much myside, no errors, codes etc to help more sadly.
hmm weird, i have my notion connector working perfectly fine. And also we don't OCR. we get content of notion pages that we access (which is approved by user while connecting notion)
let me know if you are available for a call to quickly jump on and look into this issue?
