Hey @supergeorg, could you tell us whether there are any plans to upgrade the app? If not that's regrettable but fine, it would just be nice to know.

I have been procrastinating a bit lately 😅, and my MBP 15 2015 isn't making it any better.

The big 3.0 release is still a way off, since I need to find out why the App is having freezes with SwiftData.

There are no documented problems with running Grocy 4.2.0 with the App, only the message appears. So it is still fine to use, but a 2.x release would be in order I guess.

@supergeorg You should consider implementing some kind of optional way to receive financial support from fans/followers... (no idea, but i often see something like "Buy Me a Coffee" used on Github and open source projects.)

If people like to donate, why not? It might help with getting more motivated to spend extra time on it :-)
