qu_factor_purchase_to_stock not set

Open goaround opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

Hi,

I just got started with Grocy and created many products with your App. Works really great and much fast then through the standard Web UI.

But there is one bug I run into: If I create a new product right in the scanner with the help of Open Food Facts, the qu_factor_purchase_to_stock is not set in the database. Even if quantity purchase and stock is the same: qu_factor_purchase_to_stock=1.0 If the qu_factor_purchase_to_stock is null I can't consume a product in Grocy.

Well, a missing qu_factor_purchase_to_stock should be no problem, since the app doesn't use it yet 😅

It can be set in the detailed product settings, but other than this, it doesn't seem to do anything.

How does it work and why do you need it? Maybe then I can understand the problem a bit better.

If qu_factor_purchase_to_stock is not set, I have to open every new product I've created during a "Quick-Scan" later again.

During the "Quick-Scan" the options to create a new product are quite limited. Why not provide the same dialog as if I create a product through Master dataProducts?

Well, this would need some adaptations, since name, image and barcode are set differently. I will look if it is possible without too much duplication.
