Operate on compressed data

Per a discussion on the Fly.io Community forum, it would be useful to store infrequently used database in compressed LTX format and only materialize databases as-needed. This would allow for the storage of a lot of databases files for cheap. The trade-off would be that performance would be slow when the database is initially materialized but this should be negligible for small databases.
