Describe the issue

Hyperlinks from the markdown source are not rendered on the published version this page. I assume this is some issue with the markdown, but I'm unable to find clear information on the markerb flavor of markdown.

However I do see some links that are correctly rendered. Perhaps the broken links could be converted to a more vernacular markdown syntax?
