NovaDiskIO maintenance

NovaDiskIO doesn't currently compile because the version of boost it uses is out of date. What should be done about it? I think it's possible to update the boost headers inside.

in any case we should think about removing the NOVA_DISK_IO flag from cmake either by making it compile or by removing it from the repo (perhaps to a standalone repo somewhere else) as abandonware.

I was trying to dig up some information about this. I assume that DiskIO plugins were not working with supernova originally, but is that still the case? I certainly have used DiskOut with supernova (although I did occasionally end up with missing samples in the resulting file, haven't investigated further though)
